Abstract
The study presen~s da~a on ~he physicochemical character- rustics and primary produc~ion or dirreren~ ponds or El Max Fish Farm, so as ~o provide inrorma~ion about the abundance or natural rood and ~he possibility or exploiting the rarm in aquaculture wish maximum resiliency. The rarm lies a~ ~he western extremity or Alexandria, inhe vicinity or Lake Hariu and about one kilometre south or ~he Mediterranean Sea Coast. The rarm consists or 14 ponds. Five or hese ponds representing dirreren~ habitats orhe rarm, had been chosen namely pond 5,6,7,9 and 14.
