The digital content has become essential for being increasingly used in
several libraries; internationally and even universally. Huge amounts of
money were spent on the process of creating this content which mainly
intend to store and receive the users.
This system is the vessel of all current information which is involved in
all kinds of information institutions; therefore, this study intends to
investigate this content and its administrating systems such as the
receiver’s system of administrating libraries.
The current study includes the capabilities of the receiver’s system of
administering libraries which are estimated according to the demands of
the management system of the digital content.
The study ends with measuring the efficiency of the investigated system
according to two values: the users’ satisfaction and the system’s usage.
Chapter one handles: managing the digital content, considering its
definition, the digital born, the circle of the digital content, its forms and
importance, the components of the digital content, the features of the
administrating system, the steps of choosing administrating system, the
web content, and the differences between the web content, the digital
shape, and the digital content.
Chapter two tackles the inbox of the system’s messages. It focuses on
showing the Arab and universal digital inbox and its circle, the tasks of
the manager of the inbox; identifying the system, under study, its genesis
and development, considering the construction, the budget, the project’s
details and its tasks, goals period, human and programming demands,
preparation steps of getting the digital messages and the other paperbased
ones and the way of their upload on the system. In addition, this
chapter deals with the stages of constructing the digital form in general,
the problems of the project, the technical properties of the printed
messages in Minufiya University.
Chapter three deals with the evaluation of the administrating system
demands of the digital content concerned with the receiver’s system of the
library management. Besides, this chapter illustrates the policy of this
evaluation.
Chapter four tackles the measurement of the system’s success by
evaluating the user’s satisfaction and the system’s usage. This evaluation
system depends on some statistics made upon the questionnaire applied
upon the study sample.
The most important consequences of the study:
- Using the system in constructing the digital message inbox is estimated by
a good percentage 66.4%
- The suggested demands of the evaluation system is estimated by a very
good percentage 83.3%
- The system gained a very good percentage 80% in developing the owned
items.
- The system gained a very good percentage 77.8% in the bibliographical
standards.
- The availability of the content is estimated by a good percentage 63.6%
- The efficiency of Digitalism is estimated by a good percentage 52.2%
- The Consent of the system is estimated by an excellent percentage 100 %
- The security availability in the system is estimated by a very good
percentage 80%
- The system supports the source opened standards with a very good
percentage 83.3%
- Editing the content is estimated by a good percentage 66.7%
- The system’s efficiency in managing the circle of the digital content is
estimated by a good percentage 62.5%
- The possibilities of the showing system is estimated by a very good
percentage 85.7%
- The efficiency of the system’s saving procedures is estimated by a very
good percentage 71.4%
- The efficiency of the mechanical searching process of the digital system is
estimated by a weak percentage 20%
- The efficiency of the system’s interaction with the users is estimated by a
very good percentage 80%
- The authenticity of the system is estimated by a very good percentage
72.7%
- The efficiency of the system’s publication is estimated by an excellent
percentage 100%
- No item of the system has achieved 0% in its efficiency.
