Abstract
Toxicological studies : Toxicity was tested on males and ayhalothrin was administered orally . the LD50 was 6.33mg/kg. Depending on the previous review the doses tested of chitosan were chosen and also repeated times of its application.B- Biochemical studies : 1- chitosan: with 300 mg/kg chitosan , at 5 weeks post-treatment: body weight, liver and spleen weights decreased. RBCS counts increased significantly all weeks post-treatment HB and PCV decreased significantly all weeks post-treatment WBc s increased at all weeks post-treatment MCV and MCH decreased significantly at all post-treatment expect at 3 rd weeks post-treatment at 300 mg/kg B.w, but MCHC increased at 2 nd and 3 rd weeks post-treatment Total bilirubin decreased significantly at all weeks post-treatment with 200 mg/kg followed 100 mg/kg , at 5 weeks post-treatment: Treatment Both liver and spleen weight decreased , but the body weight increased Rbcs count increased at all weeks post-treatment , but Hb and PCV decreased at all weeks post- treatment with weekly 50 mg/kg , at 6 weeks: both body weight and spleen weight increased but the liver weight decreased RBCS increased significantly at all weeks post-treatment expect at 3 rd and th weeks post-treatment with 200 and 300 mg/kg b.w. the body wieght increased rbcs decreased at both 24 and 48 hrs at 200 and 300 mg/kg b.w 2- lambada cyhalothrin with 1/10 ld 50 for 10 weeks: body weight : increased at the first 3 weeks then it decreased liver : decreased in all weeks then it increased in 9 th and 10 th weeks. Spleen , its weigt decreased in all weeks, only at 10 th week it increased .with 1/10 ld 50 for 3 days: body weight increased , liver weight increaed in 1 st weeks then it decreased .spleen weight increased in the first2 weeks then it idecreased. with 1/10 ld 50 for 20days(day after day ): body weight increased only after 7 doses of 1/10 ld 50. Role of vitamin c on the toxicity of cyhalothrin : Total protein : the amount of total protein was the same be observed in the control , the same result with albumin.
