Abstract
The study was carried out on 30 dayes who was working in the el behera governoate in three health units nearly to about hommos named balaket desouness and beket ghatas.
Ten dayas form each area.
The aim of this study was to develop implement and evaluate a training programme for the traitional birth attendant to upgrade their knowledge skills and practices vin selected primary health care activities.
In order to achieve these goals differnet interview questionnaires were use.
An interview sheet was constructed to collect data concerning the pesonal characheristics of the dayes.
An interview sheet was constucted to use before the programme implemented to assess knowledge and practices of dayas regarding differnt items of selected primary health care topics.
