Researcher exposed in this study to Library Management
Directorate of Education, in the province of Assiut, and its role in the
development of school libraries, Based on the field research
methodology, Used some tools for data collection, The questionnaire was
the most important of it, The questionnaires were collected from ( 569 )
Librarians, As questionnaires were collected from ( 60 ) Directed
libraries, The study consisted of Introduction, and four chapters, and
Conclusion, were of the highlights of the results that There are
shortcomings in the equipment of school libraries in the province of
Assiut, And there is poor distribution of librarians on school libraries,
The study libraries suffer from weak library service offered to users, They
are limited to certain traditional services, The study also demonstrated
Unwillingness of non-specialist Directed libraries and librarians,
Enrollment in any rehabilitation program in the field of library and
information.
