Abstract

Structural Lightweight agggregate concrete is an important and versatile material, which offers a range of technical, economic and environmental-enhancing and preserving advantages and is designed tobecome a dominant material in the new millennium. for structural application of lightwieght concrete, thedensity is often more important than thestrengh. A decreased density for the sam strength level reduces the self-weigh, fomdation size and construction costs.
The main objective of this research was using the demolitions of buildings which located too much these days as a coarse aggregate in lightwieght concrete. Also using lightwieght aggregates such as perlite and vermiculite. Also improving the mechanical properties for this type of concrete by adding type of fillers (fly ash) the different additives (sikalightcrete-rheobuild 850)
