Abstract Successful e-business implementation begins with the creation of an appropriate structure for running an e-business project. This structure must be designed to ensure success delivery for the eventual application of the e-business initiative, and must be capable of delivering the desired business functionality in a timely manner and avoiding the high failure rates. A Dynamic e-business system contains e-business processes. These are usually developed by composite web services. Unexpected behavior of a component web service may not only lead to failure, but also may bring negative impact on all the participants of the composition. There are some protocols have recently been developed for (composite) web services transactions like web service transactions(WS-T),business transaction protocol (BTP). Mainly these protocols use ACID (atomicity, consistency, isolation, durability) properties and 2PC (two phase commit) to handle transactions. These lead to problems in performance and lock resources for long time. The present thesis surveys these different protocols and introduces a new SOA(service oriented architecture ) model to decrease locking time for provider resources,it also compares the present model with traditional model using BPEL(business process execution language). A case study which has travel agency that includes providers such as (car, hotel, airline) is used to handle transaction among of them using the present and traditional model. |
