Abstract

The thesis comprises four chapters. The first chapter is the Introduction, The second chapter is the Literature Survey , the third chapter is Experimental Techniques and the fourth chapter the Results and Discussion which was subdivided into four parts: Part I deals with the characterization of raw materials , Part II studies pozzolanic activity of bagasse ash, silica fume, waste glass and waste marble , Part III investigates the hydration characteristics of bagasse ash , silica fume, waste glass and waste marble blended cement pastes and Part IV investigates the fire resistance of bagasse ash , silica fume , waste glass and waste marble blended cement pastes . Based on this investigation, it can be concluded that the blended cement containing about 80 % OPC,5-10% bagasse ash and 5 % both of waste glass, silica fume and waste marble effectively used as pozzolanic cement for general construction purposes and as fire resisting cement instead of the OPC, Then References and Arabic summery.
