Abstract

The present work was carried out to evaluate the protective effect of Nigella sativa as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger on the cisplatin induced oxidative stress and morphological changes in male albino rats the study included determination of the levels of total protein lipid peroxidation(LPO),DNA fragmentation and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and reduced glutathion(GSH).
