Abstract

Due to the increased demand to silver nanoparticle, its green synthesis becomes an important interest. During our study, we investigate the ability of Medicago sativa to synthesize nanoparticles via its callus, seedling, cell free seed, and cell free callus exudates. Results indicate that silver nanoparticles obtained from seedling exudates and cell free seed exudates are spherical in shape. Adjusting pH of bulk material to pH 10 affects significantly on size distribution of silver nanoparticle biosynthesized by seedling exudates. Also, it reduces the size distribution of silver nanoparticle biosynthesized by callus, seedling, cell free seed, and cell free callus exudates. Silver nanoparticles biosynthesized by callus exudates and cell free callus exudates show spherical and irregular shapes even after pH adjustment of bulk material.
