Abstract

Maintenance should be actions taken to prevent a device or component from failing or to repair normal equipment degradation experienced with the operation of the device to keep it in proper working order. Especially in the power plants, to be sure that the maintenance work done properly to ensure the safety of the units and reduce the cost e.g. maintenance works on gas units must ”be carried out in a timely manner to maintain the safety of the equipment and ensure it is working the highest possible efficiency.
This Research Report presents the different types of schedule maintenance In gas turbine power plants and how to calculate the interval between each inspection according to the calculation of the unit equivalent operating hours (EaR).
This paper discusses a case study of a combustor inspection for sidi krir gas turbine model M70lF manufactured by MRI included the disassembly and assembly procedure, the tuning procedure and results after inspection and final the inspection result of all parts of the combustor
The report is divided into several chapters as follows
Chapter 1:
.:. Introduction for the deferent types of the maintenance in general and the maintenance philosophies
.:. Overview about Types of power plant defined by functional type .:. sidi krir combined cycles power plant overview
Chapter 2:
.:. Maintenance In gas turbine and its concept, and how to calculate the equivalent operating hours (EaR) t? determine the inspection interval
.:. The different types of schedule inspection in gas turbine
