Abstract
the main objective of this study is to identify the impact of technology spillovers through trade fdi on productivity to Egypt. The saple ubder consideration includes 20 industries over the the period from 2003 to 2008 . the study reveals that import and export embodied foreign r&d tends to have negative and significant impacts on total factor productivity. It also shows that technology spillovers through inward and outward fsi have positive and significant impact on total factor productivity.
