Abstract

A total number of 100 clinicaly healthy balady
gos t s of both sexes were involved in this investigation.
female goats showed no reproductive activities. the animals were grouped and subgrouped into the following:
group .l : comprised 50 goats:
this group was used for the immediate measuring
of serum parameters after serum separation.
group ii : comprised of 50 goats and were used to study the effect of sampling technique processing of sampling and storage of sample at different degree of temperature and also the effect of transportation of the samples on some serum parameters.
the second group was subdivided in...to:_
1. collected blood samples used to study the effect of storage of serum on some serum parameters. this ~s
carried by collected the blood samples and separation
of serum. then serum was divided into 3 parts :
tlj. the first part stored at -20 0c for one week.
l2) • 0 the second part stored at - 20 0 for two
weeks.
<:3). the third part stored at _2uoc for j weeks.
after the storage serum was analyzed for some serum
parameters.
2. blood samples were collected to study the hemolytic
effect of transportation on the serum hemoglobin and
consequently on some serum parameters.
j. blood samples collected and stored at 400 for 24 hour ,
then serum was separated as previously mentioned methods
and used for further biochemic~l analysis.
recorded results could be summarized as follows :-
