Abstract Sleep is both the function of brain and function for the brain. The sleep is generated and maintained by central neural networks utilizing certain neurotransmitters that are located in specific areas of the brain; these networks are generally redundant and destruction of any particular localized area is unlikely to completely abolish the sleep state (Saper CB,et al,.2005; Szymusiak R, McGinty D.2008).A complicated interface exists between neurologic and sleep disorders. Manifestaions of neurologic disorders are altered by sleep disruption, and the pathology of neurologic disorders may give rise to worsening sleep(Lu j,et alv2006). |
