Abstract In this study, the adaptability, shear bond strength, biocompatibility of three resin based root canal sealers, and their effects on the Enterococcus faecalis, were evaluated. 1. Shear Bond Strength Human single rooted teeth were embedded in resin mounts leaving their labial surfaces uncovered. The labial surface in each specimen was covered with a teflon disc of 3 mm diameter and 2 mm height, fixed with a plastic adhesive tape tostandardize the dimensions of the sealer drop. The teflon disc was assembled fromtwo equal halves and a frame. |
