Abstract

In power plant system, there are a lot of processes that should be controlled to able to control and set the demand on load. So this work presented here studies and describes an introduction of how these power plants work and operate. Then it studies some various types of sensors such as pressure, level. Temperature, and flow sensors that are used to measure the process variables and then transmit this measured value to the controller system to control this process variables and achieve the desired response of
the system. Then it describes some controller systems such as proportional-Integral- derivative controllers and how to design and set its parameters. Then it studies some processes that are in power plant system such as fuel flow control, level control and temperature control and some control strategies to achieve the better response and the
desired set point.Finally a simulation for some processes.
