Abstract

Seven agriculture wastes named wheat bran (WB), rice straw (RS), wheat straw (WS), corn cob (CC), sugarcane bagasse (SCB), potato peal (PP), banana peal (BP) were used for isolation of bacterial strains and as substrate for enzyme production. Fifty nine isolate were tested for their ability to grow at 50oC and pH 10.0. Five of the isolated strains were thermophilic and alkaliphilic. These bacterial isolates were tested to determine their abilities to produce cellulases and xylanase on the different agriculture wastes. The effect of several factors (moisture content, moisting agents, pH, incubation temperature and incubation period) have been studied to determine their influence on enzymes and extracellular protein production. Optimization of the solid state fermentation conditions to study the effect on all the enzymes production and extracellular protein. Also, the pH and temperature stability of the cellulases and xylanase enzymes were studied. The most potent isolates MAM-29 and MAM-38 were selected to determine their dose response cure and were identified by 16SrRNA.
