Abstract Cancer risk factors deriving from physical, economic and social environment are classified as global, national, local and individual. Continuously, all act together. Different lifestyles create various risk factor combinations (AICR, 2007). Within the lifestyle factors, it is widely accepted that nutrition and related factors such as alcohol intake, obesity and physical activity, play an important role in cancer occurrence, possibly representing the most important contributors to cancer risk after smoking (Gonzalez & Riboli, 2010). |
