Experiment II: was conducted to study the effects of dietary supplementation with pomegranate peel extract and sage oil with linseed oil control ration on broiler chicks.
Both experiments were conducted to study their effects on: Growth performance of broiler chickens, Carcass quality traits, Lipid profile in broiler serum (Total lipids, total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and VLDL-cholesterol concentration), Immunity of the bird (lysozymes activity test), PUFA content of breast muscle, Total phenols and flavonoids content of the muscles.
