Abstract
Schistosomiasis is one o~ the major
health problems
in many developing countries.
In Egypt~ it heads the list
o~ endemic parasitic diseases with regard to prevalence,
gravity this endemic disease can be controlling by the
snail control and chemotherapy. Compounds o~ various
classes were established as e~~ective schistosomicides in
order to control these serious in~ections divided into
antimonial compounds and non-antimonial compounds.
