المستخلص
This thesis aims at investigating the size and components of social capital as represented by the leaders of local community. The researcher attempts to show the ways and extent of using this social capital for the benefit of the organizations of local society and fostering the capabilities of the organizations of local society and fostering the capabilities of the organizations of this society to adapt with the problems of its individuals.
To fulfill the objectives of the study and answer its questions, the researcher tries to establish its hypotheses. The researcher also uses the social sample survey method, and the case study method to put his hypotheses into practice.
All the data necessary for this study has been collected through more than one means: an analysis from to analyze the societies of local community, the interview from used in collecting data to be filled out by the leaders of the local society, in addition to the prolonged interview of the beneficiaries who benefit by the services offered by the societies of the local community.
The conclusion of the study try to answer the following questions:
1. What is the developmental role of the societies of civil community?
2. What is the asset of Social Capital as represented by the leaders of the societies of local community?
3. What is the extent of the influence of Social Capital of the leaders on the developmental role of the organizations?
4. What is the vision of the members of the local society as beneficiaries, concerning the influence of Social Capital of leaders on the activities of these social organizations?
