Abstract

The mango trees of the oldest and most important fruit crops in Egypt and occupies first place in Ismailia governorate in terms of cultivated area. Because of this importance has been studying scale insects because caused by this pest damage in the crop was in this study survey of insects in the governorate (in Fayed and El-Kantara Gharb districts) was chosen over insect presence they (Kilifia acuminata and Insulaspis pallidula) was biological study and test some of the conventional and biorational insecticides and group of mineral oils to study its effectiveness in controlling this pests and find out the best among these insecticides, the mineral oil with efficient, with high Kilifia acuminata after Admiral pesticide, but the result did not come with a good Insulaspis pallidula because of the shield protector to them.
It was through this study also studied the sensitivity of cultivars to infection with both insects and see which varieties more susceptible to infesting was the varieties of mango Ewais and Skary more infesting Kilifia acuminata while the Zebda variety, the most susceptible to infesting Insulaspis pallidula this study it became clear that the Balady variety less varieties susceptible to infesting both insects.
