Abstract
The work is concerned with the preparation of new types of benzothiazole and naphthothiazole dyes. The thesis is divided into three chapters.
Chapter 1: Is a review on the chemistry of benzothiazoles, their physical and chemical properties and the application of the thiazole nucleus for the preparation of thiazole dyes.
Chapter 2: includes a discuusion on the preparation and application of nitrobenzothiazoles (XCL) and nitroonapthothiazole (XCIII).
