Abstract

In this thesis we aimed to synthesize some new azine derivatives starting from 6-aminothiouracil and/ or phenothiazine and utilizing these derivatives in the synthesis of new heterocyclic compounds, assess their function for biological activity screening. In the first part we synthized some new pyridopyrimidine derivatives starting from 6-aminothiouracil with different pyridine derivatives and study their biological activity .In part two we synthesize some new pyridopyrimidines from 6-aminothiouracil in the multicomponent reaction with aromatic aldehydes and unsaturated ketones to synthize a new compound as a new starting material for the synthesis of several new pyridopyrimidine derivatives. In part three the synthesis of some new azo-derivatives and their application and the study of several factors which affect the absorption of UV, and reaction of the dye derivatives with several reagent for the synthesise of several new heterocyclic rings. In part four we synthesize new heterocyclic compounds which contain phenothiazine moiety .In part five we study the utility of thiocarbamoyl moiety in synthesis of some new sulphur containing heterocyclic compounds from the reaction of the cyanoacetamide starting material with different reagents for the sysnthesis of new heterocyclic compounds. In part six we study the reaction of carbon disulfide with cyanoacetamide moiety in the second starting material phenothiazine through the reaction of the intermediate which formed with carbon disulfide with different reagents. In part seven we study the nano formulation of some selective bioactive compounds and evaluation of their anti-bacterial activity. In part eight we study the evaluation for the in vitro antibacterial activity against Gram positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria. They were also evaluated for their in vitro antifungal potential.
