Abstract

Water is the main factor in the human life; fresh water is the most effective factor in the agriculture. Now we face a great threat that is the increasing of saline water comparing with fresh water. Therefore that’s very important to definition the reasons of salinity increasing to determine the best solution we can do.
The present investigation was devoted to determine the impact of salinity and the available solutions. So we decide to carry out an experiment by using different levels of saline water, different amendments to cure the impact of saline water and suitable crop to treat with both of them.
Levels of saline waters were 360, 2045, and 3000 mgl-1. Amendments we decide to use were Humic acid, Magnetite, Gypsum by adding to the soil and Amino acids as foliar application.
Crop we decide to treat with saline waters and the curing amendments was Wheat.
The field experiment was carried out in two main plots:
1- With compost (high saline 4480 mgl-1).
2- Without compost.
Characteristics we had investigated:
1- Water analysis.
2- Soil analysis.
3- Compost analysis.
4- Growth characters.
5- Chemical compositions of leaves, grains, and straw.
The main results we had were that the salinity is very dangerous problem, and by using the chosen amendments we got positive significant results.
