Abstract

plants extracts residues ( Fagonia arabica and Euphorbia indica ) to the irrigation water . The microbiological assessment of rural canal raw water in Sharkia Go This study investigated the effect of adding rubber nanocomposites and vernorate showed that there were pathogenic bacteria isolates and subjected to cultures and microscopic examination . The bacterial isolates were found to be belonged to six species which included Aeromonas hydrophila , E.coli , Salmonella typhi , Shigella boydii , Pseudomonas aeruginosa , and Staphylococcus aureus at raw water sample . So , raw water of the rural canals may cause hazard effects on human health through eating plants that irrigated with this polluted water . By characterizing the endophytic bacteria in Eruca sativa leaves , higher counts of total coliform and E.coli were found and Salmonella typhi , Staphylococcus aureus and Aeromonas hydrophila were observed . Nanocomposite is effective in eliminating of pathogenic microorganisms from the raw water . The mechanism of antibacterial activities of the rubber nanocomposite are by way of physical damage to bacterial cells which led to the protein leakage from the bacterial cells and shrunk cells . So , The protein leakage for treated bacterial cells with rubber nanocomposite was determined . The results display that the antibacterial property of rubber nanocomposites against S.aureus was higher than that against E.coli and Salmonella typhi . This is due to the difference in the structure of cell walls between Gram negative bacteria (E.coli) and Gram positive bacteria (S. aureus) . So, the effect of the rubber nanocomposite on ultrastructure of Staphylococcus aureus by the transmission electron micrographs was studied .
The plants extracts ( Euphorbia indica and Fagonia Arabica ) haven٫t antimicrobial effect on water treatment . But , the plant extracts enhanced Phaseolus vulgaris growth .
