Abstract
Background and Objective:Stem cells open up anew field of research and therapies,due to (i)their proliferative and self-renewal capactities,(ii)the ease with which they can be manipulated in viro , (iii)their ability to produce the desired cell types and (iv)because of standardized and quality-controlled preparations.
