Abstract

The best results with regard to yield and quality of the berries were obtained owing to fertilizing. Flame seedless grapevines grown under Minia region conditions with N (80 g N/ vine) as 50 % inorganic N plus 50% plant compost enriched with Spirulian plantensis algae at 80 ml / vine. Mineral N was divided into four unequal batches. Plant compost enriched with algae was added once at the middle of Jan. These results clarified that using plant compost enriched with Spirulina plantensis algae is possibly used as a partial replacement of 50% inorganic N. Application of such promised treatment in one feddan contains 667 Flame seedless grapevines achieved net profit reached 2850 and 5700 L.E. over the check treatment during both seasons, respectively.
