The most common histopathological finding was glomerular lesions in 58 patients representing 38.6% of all biopsies )including FSGS in 15 patients representing 27.3% , Lupus nephritis class 5 and membranous GN in 10 patients (18%) each and membranoprolifrative G N in 8 patients (14.5%) , followed by lupus nephritis in 50 patients representing 33.3% of cases with lupus nephritis class 4 being the commonest one of them and was found in 22 patients representing 44% of all lupus patients included in this study, then renal biopsies with combined lesions in 17 patients representing 11.3 % of all cases, followed by vascular lesion in 13 patients representing 8.6% of all cases. The least histopathological lesion found in this study was tubulointerstitial disease in 12 patients representing 8% of all patients.
