Abstract
The curtail heavy metal pollution problems many processes have been developed for the treatment and disposal of metal containing wastes including chemical precipitation electrode deposition and ion exchange the need for economical effective and safe methods for removing metals from waste waters has resulted in the search for unconventional materials that may be useful in reducing the levels or accumulation of heavy metals in the environment Niu et al 1993.
