Abstract

Findings of this study demonstrate the potential of using, two essential oils (Citronella and Rosemary), two commercial Bio-agents formula (BioArc, BioZeid), Kombucha filtrate, as well as two fungicides (Antracol and Occidor) for improving the quantity and quality of grafted mango seedlings in the commercial nurseries.
This study is recommended with:
• Treated burning wounds with suitable fungicides or essential oil to prove against contamination by saprophytic fungi.
• Immersing scions in the suspension freshly prepared from the above mentioned protectants before grafting.
• Using known rootstocks for commercial propagation instead of unknown origin rootstocks. Zebda cultivar could be considered as a vigorous rootstock (Shaban, 2010).
