This study (religious and sectarian trends when the Kurds in the second Abbasid era _656 232 AH / 847 _ 1258), and chose the researcher beginning of the second Abbasid who distinguished from its predecessor the culmination of religious ideas and the emergence and spread of sects and schools of Islamic jurisprudence beginning to study it.
The reason for the check back to the importance of addressing religious and sectarian diversity in the balance of the history of civilization and to identify the reasons for the prevalence of certain doctrines and beliefs among the Kurds, and monitoring of historical development.This study consists of an introduction and pave four seasons with the conclusion and supplements and a list of sources and references, addresses the boot briefly out of the Kurdish people and highlighted the prevalence areas during the Abbasid era and how he entered in Islam, came the first chapter entitled ”religions and beliefs of non-Islamic”, has addressed a researcher under this title Reliable celestial ancient religions in the Kurdish areas and the conditions of believers after the rule of Islam in the Kurdish areas, and came second chapter entitled ”external direction and Shiite,” deals with the researcher in which the conditions of the external movements and Shiite between the Kurds before prevailing doctrine of the Sunnis in their area by the 4th century AH / 22:00, came Chapter III entitled ”schools of Islamic jurisprudence Sunni”, and devoted this chapter to cover the most important bases of the four schools (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, Hanbali) and how to spread those doctrines in the Kurdish areas and the reasons that led to the rule Shaafa’is in the country’s Kurds among those four schools . Then came the fourth chapter entitled ”mystic direction,” the researcher and the status of mysticism between the Kurds and the most prominent Kurdish fields and figures in addition to the Kurdish religious communities affected by the sloping him (Yazidi and Aliarsan).
The researcher adopted a number of sources and references Arabic, Persian, Kurdish and foreign references, in addition to a range of scientific papers and periodicals.The research concluded that the Kurds lived in the shadow of religious and intellectual diversity and differences during the second Abbasid era, and it was his springboard to the emergence of some religious sects own bees, but the doctrine of the Sunnis in assets and Shafi’i in the branches was often among them.
