Abstract
Abstract
E-government is a way for governments to use the most innovative
information and communication technologies . Particularly web-based
Internet applications that help in providing citizens and businesses
with more convenient access to government information and services,
to improve the quality of the services and to provide greater
opportunities to participate in democratic institutions and processes.
Technology is the core of e-government and so the main objective of
this thesis is to study e-government integration and its
implementation in E-democracy concept. How to make optimal
utilization of e-government in citizen life is also introduced.
This thesis suggests a framework design for Egyptian e-government
to utilize Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in achieving egovernment systems interoperability to help it rise up. Also an
reasoning mechanism and algorithm were introduced to optimize web
services selection based on QoS.
Finally discussion and analysis depicts that the proposed framework
can improve the democratic process and e-government
interoperability
