Abstract The present study aims to study the serum b2-microglobulin (B@-M0 level in patients with different levels of renal impairment. The present study was conducted on 60 subjects. Fifty patients with CKD were selected from those admitted to the Nephrology Unit in Internal Medicine Department at Tanta University hospital. In addition, ten healthy subjects were included as a control group. All patients and controls included in the study were subjected to the following: Full history taking, complete clinical examination and laboratory investigations (complete urine analysis, serum blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, estimated GFR, serum calcium, phosphorus and serum β2-M results obtained from this work tabulated before and analyzed. |
