Abstract

The aim of the current study was:
1- The detection of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),
Interleukin 1 alpha (IL-1-α) and tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α)
from normal and irreversibly inflamed pulps from both healthy
individuals and blood disordered patients (thalassemia and sickle cell
anemia) by immunohistochemical method.
2- The correlation between the severity of the inflammation, and the
amount of the inflammatory mediators and VEGF in blood disordered
diseases (thalassaemia and sickle cell anaemia).
