Abstract
The present study was conducted to evaluate, in-vitro, the fracture resistance of milled titanium ceramic fixed partial dentures using two types of margin designs:
I) Shoulder finish line.
II) Deep chamfer finish line.
And two types of framework extensions:
A) A frame work with both retainers extended to the end of finish line (metal collar) (metal margin).
B) A framework with an anterior retainer 1mm shorter than the finish line (collarless metal) (circumferential porcelain margin).
