Abstract

The aim of this investigation was to evaluate the shear bond strength
of the zirconia cores layered using the recent machined veneering ceramics versus
the conventionally layered ones;
1- CAD-on technique for zirconia veneering
2- Rapid layering technique for zirconia veneering.
3- Conventional layering technique for zirconia veneering.
All the samples were subjected to shear bond strength test. Representative samples
of each group were examined under scanning electron microscope to evaluate the
mode of failure.
