Abstract The present study was attempted to improve the microtensile bond strength of adhesively cemented translucent zirconium oxide materials. Evaluation of the effect of four surface treatments (Average pressure 50 μm sandblasting, low pressure 30 μm sandblasting, selective infiltration etching and fusion sputtering) on the roughness and microtensile bond strength of translucent zirconia to resin cement before and after water storage was carried out. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) was also attempted to evaluate surface morphology before cementation and zirconia/resin interfaces after cementation. |
