Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the vertical marginal gap distance and fracture resistance of two conservative all-ceramic fixed partial denture designs, compared to the full coverage/full coverage-retained fixed partial denture design, namely:-
1- Inlay/inlay-retained fixed partial denture with the inlay retainers on both the premolar and molar abutment teeth.
2- Inlay/onlay-retained fixed partial denture with premolar inlay retainer and molar onlay retainer.
