Abstract
analize political discourse from the perspective of the interpersonal metafunction.
Systemic functional Linguistics (SFL) of halliday is used as the basis of the analysis. this theory focuses on the purposes and the use of language .
the analysis of the talk shows from the pres[ective of the interpersonal metafunction mainly involves the analysis of mood, modality and pronoun. using systemic functional linguistics, the study aims to discover how the major elements of the interpersonal metafunctions are fulfilled in political discourse.
