An era in which we live is characterized by constant change and evolution in the existing educational technology innovations to employ information and communications technologies (ICT). Organizations and organs of society have been affected by this and subsequently new interactive learning environments have emerged to provide the educational needs however such entities need significant incorporation and the creation of new tools of development to suit these changes. On top of those alternatives and changes comes the virtual learning technology, which enables learners to experience the world through virtual reality which is achieved through the construction of artificial and imaginary living environments designed specifically to mirror reality and to prepare individuals to interact with it. An example of employing virtual reality in education is the emergence of virtual laboratories that provide learning through an artificial environment on computers. These labs are similar to real ones and enable learners to using lab tools and equipment which were designed by three-dimensional, virtual and highly sophisticated and interactive programs which essentially eases learning through the different learning methods that the learners are exposed to. Research Objectives: 1- Measuring the impact of the different learning styles and patterns of interaction in the virtual language lab in developing the cognitive sides associated with electronic reading skills of the English language among prep school students. 2- Measuring the impact of the different learning styles and patterns of interaction in the virtual language lab in developing the performance sides associated with electronic reading skills of the English language among prep school students. Research Limits: A sample of second year students preparatory school in Temai Elamdid sector for Alazhar institutes. 2- four units of English language course for students of the second year, prep school . Research Methodology: Descriptive and quasi-Experimental approach Research Tools: A comprehension reading test and An observation checklist Research findings: 1-Finding of the first question : It is answered in identifying a list of cognitive and Performance sides of the electronic reading skills. 2-Finding of the second question : It is answered in identifying a list of design virtual language laboratory based on the different learning styles and patterns of interaction for the development of e-reading skills for second year preparatory standards> 3-Finding of the third question : It is answered in the form of a learning object repository designed according to five stages. The researcher has chosen one of the models commensurate with the nature of the current research was selected Elgazzar’s model (2013) to instructional design, and emphasizes the interaction between the student and the teacher . 4-Finding of the fourth question : The finding of this question refers to statistical significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the grades of the experimental sample’s scores in the pre-assessment and the post-assessment of achievement test in favour of the post- achievement test . 5-Finding of the fifth question : The finding of this question refers to statistical significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the grades of the experimental sample’s scores in the pre-assessment and the post-assessment of the observation checklist in favour of the post- assessment.
