Abstract

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) including indomethacin are widely used in the treatment of many diseases such as pain, rheumatoid arthritis, fever, joint stiffness and lupus. Indomethacin has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-pyretic and anti-platelet aggregation drug. But this drug has some aggressive side effects. These effects including histological changes, gastric and peptic ulceration and liver and kidney damage. Also, indomethacin associated with blood disorders, bleeding together with secondary anaemia resulting from blood loss. Therefore, recovery from ulcer diseases has strongly attracted the attention of biologists. They tried different trails of treatments against this disease either by natural products or biologically active substance. In recent years, the attention was focused on bioactive peptides of natural sources investigating their physiological
