Abstract

Postoperative analgesia is very important due to its role in reduction of postoperative stress response, reduction in postoperative morbidity improving surgical outcome, facilitation of rehabilitation and surgical. recovery Peripheral regional anesthetic techniques such as transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block are considered an attractive alternative to. central blocks The TAP block technique is easy to perform and with few complication . Accurate placement of the local anesthetic drug through the needle and the potential damage to adjacent structures are main concerns in any landmark-based regional anaesthetic technique and thus the transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block.Ultrasound guided TAP block may improve both safety and block effectiveness as well as reduction of the complications Morphine is the preferred drug for relieving pain in the immediate
postoperative period. However, there is great interpatient variability in the
efficient dosing of morphine and it is still difficult to precisely adapt dosing
o the patient’s needs and has many side effects as nausea.vomiting and Urine retention
