Abstract Target:Preparation and characterization of titania and modified titania for photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue and rhodamine B Conclusions:1. A different technics were used for characterization of samples (XRD,TEM,SEM,UV spectra) 2. By increase the MCM-41 percent the photocatalytic degradation increased until 3wt% then decrease until 7wt% and the best calcination temperature was 3wt% MCM-41/TiO2.3. The prepared samples was modified with Bi2O3 with 8wt% the best results was recorded.4. By increasing weight percent of Bi2O3 the photocatalytic degradation increase until 8wt% then decrease until 20wt% Bi2O3. With 250oC calcination temperature. Recommendations:1. The possibility of using modified titania for purification of water.2. Using green chemistry which mean producing materials without producing pollutants as side products and more friendly material for environment.3. The researcher recommends that the research could be applied in the experimental projects for putrefaction of water from pollutants. |
