Abstract Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have been widely used for spatial data and as a supporting tool to improve Spatial Decision Support systems (SDSS). Information technologies, including GIS and the online, have provided opportunity to beat much of the restrictions of computer-based models in terms of data elaboration and visualization, and equipping the prospect to make complete SDSS. This study presents a DSS for E-Service based on GIS ”DEGIS”. The proposed system utilizes websites to determine the required e-services according through Geographic Location (GL). GL determines both of latitude and longitude which are stored in temporarily excel sheet. Such data are read form ArcGIS as spatial data. GIS uses spatial data layers (Base map, Customers, centers of service) to calculate the number of customer and the number of service points for each geographical area (polygon). the relation between customers and points of service based on the location. spatial statistics (Geo-Statistics) are used to test data and produce a correlation coefficient between customer and centers of service, Therefore the system supports the decision making by the Geographic distribution for both services and customers.we have got the results from the implementation of this program and we have got the number of customers & centers of service charts based on the cities (Geolocation). The correlation coefficient (R) is used for measuring the relation between the number of customers and the number centers of service, R=0.2. |
