Abstract One of the main stages of organizational and technological design of production works is the generation of construction schedules. Several different activities may share the same working zone at the same time. Therefore, managing workspaces, generation of 4D models, optimizing of construction time and cost to facilitate activity scheduling will improve project performance.The study proposed method for automating the generation of 4D building models based on building information model, information from similar implemented projects and integration of a variety of standard software products with developed software modules. Classification of different types of required workspaces was introduced and information model of required workspaces for work production was developed and integrated with construction schedules. Optimizing the schedule of construction project activities was considered and multi-objective model for project scheduling was developed based on modification of genetic algorithms. |
