Abstract Conjunctival lesions are widely spread among population and they range from benign to malignant lesions and are either symptomatizing or not. The diagnosis is usually made based on the clinical features such as size, color, location, laterality and the patient’s complexion. Confirmation can be established through a biopsy report of histopathological findings. The aim of work is detection, diagnosis and treatment of the different conjunctival lesions seen in outpatient clinic in Menoufia University Hospitals. Lesions excluded from this study included conjunctival infections, simple allergic conjunctivitis (conjunctival follicles & papillae), autoimmune conjunctivitis and traumatic conjunctival lesions (subconjunctival hemorrhage and conjunctival lacerations). One hundred and fifty nine cases were included in the study in the period from April 2014 to April 2015 and prevelance was higher in adult and old aged male patients. The most common lesions were benign pigmented conjunctival lesions followed by pterygia then piguaclae, epibulbar choriostoma, pyogenic granuloma and OSSN.
