The heritage of any nation can be an important factor and a key in the development of that nation and its advance because the man at every time and place heir his predecessors of knowledge and experience will benefit them in the present and adds to it from his experience and develops it with his knowledge.
And the writer who inspires from the history and heritage, an artist takes writing and drama as a creative activity through which reflects the point of view towards the conditions and situations of the society.
In the modern era ”time”, it’s found that many of the play wrights who have pushed ahead the march of the Iranian Child Theatre for many years, and provided many of the drama and theatre works that have had their impact on the development of the theatre thought in Iran in the modern stage.
The title of the study ”Social and Religious trends in child’s theatre after the Iranian Revolution from 1991 to 2000, critical study of selected samples.
This study aims to monitor the evolution of the features of the child prose and poetic theatre after the Islamic Revolution, in order to identify.
The conclusion reached by the writers of Iran in the development of their own creativity concerning to children’s theatre.
The study also aims to identify the social and religious renewable tends of children’s theatre in the modern Persian literature, in addition to monitoring the social and intectual variables that have occurred in the Iranian children’s theatre in the nineties of the Islamic Revolution and most important of which society out of the field of war and trouble of mass destruction to the field of work, hope and progress, and transform the destructive war message to other constructively contribute to the development and advancement of Iranian society.
Our writers have expressed through their inspiration of heritage and Iranian folk tales about the social and religious values and views expressed in their play work.
The research includes an introduction and five chapters and the conclusion and then an extension for the translation of the play texts under study. I have noted in a brief submitted to the history of children’s literature and the history of child’s theatre in Iran and their importance, and the most previous studies of children’s theatre in addition to the objective of the study.
The first chapter entitled ”Child’s theatre.” dealt with the definition of child’s theatre and then this chapter dealt with the study of the history of child’s theatre in Iran, and then go to talk about the function of child’s theatre, and then studied afterwards the technical construction elements of the play, and the ways of presenting children plays, as well as it had the characteristics of child’s theatre writer.
The second chapter was titled entitled ”Fairy tale on the tongue of the animal and its impact on child’s theatre.”: this chapter dealt with the study of the nature of fairy – tale on the tongue of the animal and then we talked about the Persian literature and the art of myth or fabiola, then employ the myth on the tongue of the animal in the child’s theatre.
The third chapter was titled ”Social Trends.” and this chapter has what social trends, and then we talked about the role of theatre in acquisition of child social trends, and after this exposure chapter to study and analyze the plays under study, to learn about the most important trends and social values prevalent in children’s theatre after the Islamic Revolution and their types, including: Educational values affecting the community, Recreational values affecting the community.
Chapter four titled ”Religious Trends.”, and it has been dealt with the definition of religious trends, and then studying the role of theatre in the acquisition of child religious trends, and in the end, be dealt with religious trends in the play under study to learn about the most important prevailing religious values in the children’s theatre and the Iranian society after the Islamic Revolution and their types ; such as Moral values derived Islamic transactions and acts of worship, and then conclude chapter with studying the Islamic values derived from Shiite doctrine .
Chapter five entitled, ”Analytical study of selected samples.” This chapter has been split into two sections. The first section is ” An analytical study of the text of theatre for children, And in which we dealt with the study of the plays of the study sample with studying, analysis and criticism of all elements of the text, where we talked about the address and searched for the basic ideas or the general attitude, then we examined the plot and the dramatic structure and also we studied the conflict and the characters dimension and we analyze the element of time and place, also it includes a study of language and method element as well as the dialogue.
The second section: which came under the title of ”An analytical study of the methods of theatre performance for children.”: In it we studied stage of performance methods of plot and construction, and we dealt with the thrill and fascinate element, and we talked about the element of movement, music and songs, decoration and scenery, lighting and sound effects.
And followed by a conclusion that the most important results we mentioned in the research.
In the second section of the study, we dealt with the translation of the play texts under study and then conclude second section of the study with List of Dictionary of Literature and Theatre Idioms
And in the end subsequent sources and references index, and followed by a summary in Arabic, Persian and English.
