Abstract
The present study was aimed to survey some insect pests infesting some ornamental shrubs at alexandria governorate, studying the population fluctuations of the certain hemipterous insects infesting ornamental plants in five locations, conducting biological studies of some important insects under semi- field conditions and finally studying the morphology and biology of the blue cycas butterfly, chilades pandava horsfields, a recently recorded pest in egypt.
