Abstract

This study was carried out during 2013 and 2014 seasons on twenty four uniform in vigour Ewaise mango trees onto polyembriyonic seedling rootstock and grown in a private orchard located at Mankabad district , Assiut Governorate. The selected trees are planted at 7x7 meter apart. The texture of the soil is silty clay. Surface irrigation system was followed. Horticultural practices were carried out as usual.
The merit of this study was examining the effect of single and combined applications of boron, magnesium and Royal jelly on vegetative growth characters, trees nutritional status , yield and fruit quality of Ewaise mango trees grown under Assiut region conditions.
This study was statistically analyzed using Randomized complete block design (RCBD) in which the experiment included eight treatments and each treatment was replicated three times , one tree per each.
Treating Ewaise mango trees grown under Assiut environmental conditions three times (growth start, just after fruit setting and at one month later) with a mixture of boric acid at 0.025 % (0.25 g /L); magnesium sulphate at 0.5% ( 5 g / L) and Royal jelly ( 0.5 g / L) succeeded in improving yield and fruit quality.
